WIDE OPEN 

Swing with the gun is a skill set that is needed in competition and in hunting.  This setup employs a wide arc to get the triple.  The good thing about a setup like this is that there are no tricks.  No overlapping falls - just mark the bird and move with the handler to see the birds. 

Blind 1 is an under the arc blind and blind 2 is a back side the gun blind.  

EXECUTION SEQUENCE: 

CLASSIC: 

AROUND THE HORN WITH A PUSH: 

1. throw mark 1
2. throw mark 2
3. throw mark 3
4. retrieve mark 3
5. retrieve mark 1
6. retrieve mark 2
7. run blind 1
8. run blind 2 

SIMPLIFY: 

• Teach the long memory bird:

1. run mark 2 as a single
2. throw mark 1
3. throw mark 2
4. throw mark 3
5. retrieve mark 3
6. retrieve mark 1
7. retrieve mark 2
8. run blind 1
9. run blind 2 

• Run as a Delayed Triple: 

1. throw mark 2
2. throw mark 1
3. retrieve mark 1
4. throw mark 3 
5. retrieve mark 3
6. retrieve mark 2

• Flag the Blinds 

• Run the Blinds and then add the marks

ADVANCED: 

Run the Triple as a Pull:

• Interrupt the the Triple with a Blind:
